Congratulations to the 2014 Graduates Madison Auten I plan on attending the University of Kansas and majoring in pre-pharmacy. The church has impacted me by setting an example of how I should live my daily life. I have grown up with a strong foundation and believe that is the reason I have been given so many opportunities and had success in my life.
Tristan Barnes I’m going to Colorado Christian University to study youth ministry. Lighthouse impacted my leadership skills and gave me the drive to want to be in youth ministry.
Regan Boyer I am going to Pratt on a full ride through cross country and softball to study horticulture, agronomy, and minor in ranch management. On way the church impacted me was to stay true to my judgments and concentrate on what’s truly important in life. It taught me the value of God and family in my life.
Tera Brandt Plans to attend K-State University and enter Pre-Veterinary with a Minor in Leadership and then enter Veterinary Medicine with a focus on Large & Small animals. “Being a part of the Presbyterian Family has been rewarding in so many ways. I have made many friends and have enjoyed being a part of VBS & Children's Church. I will always be grateful for all of the love and support I have received. I truly feel blessed!”
Lexie Dyer I plan to attend the University of Kansas to major in Chemistry, and minor in Spanish. After which, I will apply to medical school to become an anesthesiologist. One way the church impacted my life was how it showed me that there are 300 people in my family, not just 4.

Congratulations to the 2014 Graduates Lauren Frederick I will be attending the University if northern Iowa. I am majoring in Pre -Physical Therapy and I will be running for the Track and Field Team! Lighthouse has taught me that God loves us no matter where life takes us. Also to enjoy life and all it entails.
Ian Johnston I plan to attend Mid-America Nazarine Universtiy. The church has impacted me by being a constant supporter of what the Lord is doing in my life and has blessed me more than I could probably know. I grew up in this church, and they have shown me what a loving church family looks like. I know I have reliability and support in Lighthouse and thank the Lord that I was able to grow up in such an environment. My life verse is Psalm 19:14
Sarah Phipps I want to major in either special education or occupational therapy and minor in sign language. The church gave me a solid foundation to build my faith on.
TJ Thomas I will attend Flint Hills Technical College to pursue an Associate’s Degree in Computerized Machine Tool Engineering. Lighthouse Presbyterian Church has taught me: • To stand up for what I believe (my faith). • God has a plan for my life, and I can have a personal relationship with Him. • There is more to life than what you have or how you look. • How to stay grounded throughout high school. • To look for the positive things in life.
Alaina Weidman I am going to Pittsburg State University and majoring in Secondary Education to become a high school history teacher. Lighthouse taught me how to have a relationship with God and I am very luck to be surrounded by everyone here—a big family.

Mother’s Day A Child’s Perspective A group of second-graders was quizzed about what ingredients their mothers are made of. One child said, “God makes mothers out of clouds and angel hair and everything nice in the world, and one dab of mean.” To the question 'What does your mom do in her spare time?' one youngster said, 'Mothers don't do spare time.' When the children were asked “Why did God give you your mother and not some other mom?” one child replied, “God knew she likes me a lot more than other people's moms like me.”
