Note:
SAP Gui for Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 is not released for use in the Metro version of Internet Explorer 10, 11 and Edge. This SAPGui package can be installed silently when invoked with the command-line parameter “/silent”

Download SAPGui file SAPGui 740 is located on NCOSC website: http://www.osc.nc.gov/BEST/support/support_tech.html. Download the SAPGui 740 zip file into a local folder then extract the zip file to the same location. Double click on SAPGui740.exe to begin the installation.
Installation Important Information: User must “exit” SAPGui application or errors will occur during installation/upgrade. PC Administration rights are need to install or upgrade the SAPGui software.
1. Run the SapGUI740p4.exe file 2. Wait for the extraction to finish 3. Select the Next button

4. Check on box for SapGUI740p4 and select next
5. Wait for the installation/upgrade finish

6. Select close button to complete the installation/upgrade
7. You might be prompted to “reboot” the PC.

Security Settings 1. Launch the SAPGui if it is not currently open 2. Click on the top left corner 3. Select “Options”

4. Open “Security” folder then select “Security Settings” and click on “Open Security Configuration”
5. On “Default Action” drop down and select “Ask” to “Allow” Apply & Ok
6. Click
on “SAP GUI Options” windows
