Live DEEPER
When the grace + truth of Jesus is received by a repentant heart, everything changes. Some of these changes occur immediately, others take the entirety of our life to complete, and all are to bring glory to God. If our desire is to become more like Jesus, we must begin by seeing Him clearly. Not merely understanding the salvation process as a list of things we need to accomplish before we die, but as an active shaping of our hearts and minds. We must be compelled by a love that has set our heart ablaze, and filled us with life today. And we must no longer pursue the things we once found enchanting, but walk according to the Spirit Jesus has given us so that by it we might know, and accomplish His will.
Look DEEPER
Do you feel you are being transformed? That your life has meaning? Do you believe Jesus has/ is/ will make changes in your life? Even subtle changes? Is life with Jesus simple... easy... light... clear? Or has religion complicated it? Are you owning your responsibility in being transformed? Are you engaging with the process? Or are you passively walking through the motions? Do you see yourself pursuing your passion in Jesus?
Blessing
May we come to see, and believe Jesus is doing a new work in us. That He has transformed us, is transforming us, and will continue to transform us until He calls us home. May we know that even in our darkest moments, in the times we feel furthest from Him, in the nights where everything has gone against us, Jesus has not left us, or regretted dying for us. And may we know deep in our bones, Jesus will not give up on us as He works in us to make us more like Him, and to bring glory to His Name.
