If you are interested in ordering one please sign up at Guest Services. 2017-18 NMI Mission Books are here!! “The heart cannot care if the mind does not know.” Mission books are one of the ways to be educated and inspired. The mission’s books and CDs are available for adults, teens, and children to borrow. They are located in the book rack next to the Guest Services Desk. FLU SHOTS Walgreens will be returning to give “Flu Shots” on Sunday, Sept. 17th from Noon until 2:30. If you are interested in getting a FREE Flu Shot, please sign up & get your form at the Guest Services Desk Primetimer’s Luncheon Join us Saturday, September 16th @ 12:30 in Sherman Hall for our potluck luncheon. Ladies Thursday Morning Bible Study We will be starting off the fall with The Quest series by Beth Moore. In this series Beth Moore uses questions from Scripture to lead you into intimacy with the One who knows you best. All ladies are invited to join us in Sherman Hall @ 10:00a.m. on Thursday, September 14th. Bible Study Fellowship-Ladies Bible Study Bible Study Fellowship is an international Christian interdenominational fellowship of lay people offering a system of structured bible study. This year BSF will be studying the book of Romans. The Ladies BSF group meets on Tuesday evenings @ 7:00pm here in our sanctuary. The first class will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 12th ***************************************************** BCN KIDS 4:14U CLUB 56 will resume on September 17! New time will be from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. NaCl News 7th-12th Grade Teens Striving to be the “Salt of the Earth” No NaCl tonight Enjoy your holiday weekend NaCl 6 Week-Not a Fan Series Are you a fan or a follower? The dictionary defines a fan as an enthusiastic admirer. Jesus was never interested in having admirers. It’s not fans he is looking for. The Not a Fan study will challenge you to consider what it really means to call yourself a Christian. Beginning September 10th @ 6:00pm in the Teen Center. Upcoming Events Sonfest –Saturday, Sept. 23rd @ MVNU (All Day Event) Cost is $15 per person for 10 or more people Adult sponsors are needed. See Ernie if you can be a sponsor or sign up in Ernie’s office if you are interested in going See You at the Pole September 27th students from all over the nation will be gathering at their school’s flag pole before school starts for a time of student led prayer. The 1-2-3 Read! Program is designed for 1st-3rd grade students who are at risk of not meeting the state mandated Third Grade Reading Guarantee. 1-23 Read! provides FREE one-on-one tutoring in reading skills and small group tutoring with literacy games. The program runs from the week of October 23rd through mid-May. 1-2-3 Read! will be offered from 4:15-5:45pm at Southeast Cuyahoga County Public Library(CCPL) in Bedford on Monday & Tuesday. The Homework Centers are open Monday-Thursday from late September through mid-May. Homework Centers are geared to assist students in K-8th grade with their homework. Two sessions of students are seen each day between 4-5:15pm and 5:15-6:30pm located at Southeast CCPL in Bedford. Upper level math tutors strongly encouraged for the 2nd session. Questions?
