Beginning Quilting Class Date: January 27, February 3 & 10 ~ Time: 10am – 3pm ~ Cost: $80 + supplies We are excited to offer this wonderful class where you will learn all the basics of quilting. You will learn about essential supplies, fabric, rotary cutting, stitching, pinning, pressing, and quilt construction. Plus you will earn how to finish your quilt with sandwiching, quilting, and binding instructions. A great foundation for making many beautiful quilts. Come have fun with us!

Supplies:  Sewing machine in good working condition  Basic quilting supplies: pins, thread, scissors, rotary cutter with safety lock, 24” x 36” cutting mat & 24” quilting ruler

 Book: Super Simple Quilts by Alex Anderson  Fabric: use yardage in the book for the Hopscotch quilt (pages 17-21). We will be making the wall/crib size quilt.

~1 yard of inexpensive fabric (like muslin or something from home) & scrap of batting about 14-18” square for practicing skills.

 Bring a snack as this class runs through lunch time. ~All drinks are required to have a seal or cap to prevent machine or fabric damage from spills. Thank you!
