Same and Different... • College Ready: A student is prepared to succeed in college leve l courses without

remediation • Career Ready: A student possesses key academ ic skills needed to qualify for and

su cceed in the post·seconda ry job and/or educat ion necessary for his/her chosen career, along with emp loyabil ity ski lls (SCANS) and technical, job specific skills (Career Clu sters) .
