Behavior Management Letter In your child’s classroom, a behavior management program called the behavior chart is used. Each child has number on the chart . Every student starts the day with their number on “Ready to Learn.” The student has the chance to move their number up or down throughout the day depending upon the choices that they make. If a number is moved up, it can be moved down if behavior worsens, and visa versa. If the number is moved down, it can be moved up if the behavior improves. At the end of each day, if your child has stayed on “Ready to Learn” or moved above that, they will receive a punch on their incentive punch card. When they have received 20 punches, they will get to pick from the treasure box. If your child moves down, the first consequence will be to receive a warning, followed by 10 minutes loss of recess, and then a call home. Your child will not receive a punch on their incentive punch card for the day. Please be aware, that your child will clip down if their homework handbook is not signed nightly. Thank You, Mrs. Stephanie Miller
