Best of the West Wrestling Tournament January 12-13, 2018 Tooele High School 301 W Vine, Tooele, UT 84074 Friday, January 12 1:00 pm Weigh-ins (Scratch +1lb) in the small gym 2:00 pm Coaches Meeting (Lunch will be provided for the coaches) 3:00 pm Wrestling Begins (Varsity in main gym on three mats; JV in small gym on three mats) Times below are for the varsity tournament and are approximate. If we are ahead of schedule, we will continue into the next round with minimal breaks. The JV tournament will run faster and will wrestle as much as they can on Friday until the varsity is finished for the day (approximately 9:30 pm) 3:00 - 5:00 Championship Round 1 5:00 - 7:30 Championship Round 2 and Consolation Round 1 7:30 - 8:00 Dinner Break (Dinner provided for the coaches) 8:00 - 9:30 Consolation Round 2 Saturday, January 13 7:30 am Weigh-ins (Scratch +2) in the small gym (Light breakfast will be provided for coaches) 9:00 am Wrestling Begins 9:00 - 11:00 Championship Semi-Finals and Consolation Quarter-Finals 11:00 - 12:30 Consolation Semi-Finals 12:30 - 1:30 Lunch Break (Lunch will be provided for coaches) 1:30 - 3:00 Consolation Finals 3:00 - 3:30 Set Up for Finals 3:30 - 5:30 Finals 5:30 Awards Both the Varsity and JV tournaments will be 16-Man brackets run through TrackWrestling. Medals will be awarded to the top six individuals for varsity and top three for JV in each weight. Team trophies will be awarded to the top three teams in the varsity and top two in the JV tournament. Cost for a varsity team is $250 and the JV is $200. Extra wrestlers will be charged $15 each.
