November 5, 2017 Beginning TODAY (and continuing until further notice), there are a few changes for the 10:00 AM church time: Nursery I, II and III (infant – 3 yrs. old) – no changes Primary I (4 yrs. old – Pre-school) – no changes rd Primary II (Kindergarten – 3 grade) changes as follows: Kindergarteners: church time with Primary I in Room 304 st rd 1 - 3 graders should sit with their parents in the service.
BAPTIST CHILDREN’S HOME GROCERY SHOWER Next Sunday, November 12th We welcome Brian Karlik (Baptist Children’s Home of Elkhart) to our our th morning service today. Next Sunday, November 12 , we will have our annual grocery shower to help with needed food and supplies for the family. The following is a list of items for each Sunday School Department to bring: Nursery and Adults: Liquid dishwasher detergent, Clorox wipes, liquid laundry detergent, Soft Scrub cleanser, Soft Soap refills (white), air fresheners, toilet bowl cleaners, gift cards, cash Primary and Juniors: Individual items for lunches – pudding, fruit cups, granola bars, nuts, trail mix, juice boxes, flavored water and chips Teens and College/Career: Cereal (Chex/Honey Nut Cheerios), Paper plates, chocolate chips, crackers, whole wheat flour, toilet paper, paper towels Our Quarterly Business Meeting will be held tonight during the evening service. At the meeting, we will vote on changes to our church constitution that are recommended by the Combined Board. Proposed changes are posted at various locations around the church. Today is the last “Reformers” bulletin insert. If you would like a complete pack of all eight reformers together, stop by the church office.

There will be a grocery shower for Zachary and Heidi Taylor today after the evening service in the FLC. We need help after the morning service to set up tables and chairs in the FLC in preparation for the grocery shower tonight. Hoosiers for Life is preparing a petition throughout the Michiana area to oppose an abortion facility that is seeking residence in South Bend. If you want to sign this petition, stop by the Welcome Center, church office or north entrance table. CAMP CO-BE-AC CHAIN SAW GANG! -- This coming Friday and Saturday There is still room if you are interested. Contact Jim Oswalt at (260) 515-1288. Ladies are also welcome to go as there are other needed projects to be done. NOTE: The camp will provide bedding. Bring your own chainsaw but camp will provide gas and oil. Meet in the church parking lot on Friday at 5:30 PM. On November 22, AWANA, FOCUS, Adult Prayer/Bible Study and all classes and FOCUS Gym Night are cancelled. On Tuesday, November 21, we will have a “Pie rd and Praise” service for adults, teens and children (3 grade and above). Each family is encouraged to be prepared to share a brief testimony, favorite verse or nd poem. There will be classes available for children in 2 grade and below. “Thank you for the flowers, visits, calls and especially the prayers on my behalf over the last several months. I am getting better and expect to return home sometime in November.
