WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING... Ed Cooley, Head Coach, Providence College
“Tommy Dempsey is one of the brightest young coaches in America! I admire his ability as a mentor and a program builder. I know he will do great things at Binghamton University and do it the right way. Tommy is a proven winner and an even better person!”
Former Rider player & 8 year NBA veteran Jason Thompson
“It was a tremendous honor being coached by Coach Dempsey. I was fortunate enough to be a part of his first head coaching job. I was with him at the beginning stages of building the program at Rider as we both worked extremely hard to resurrect the program. Together, we earned Coach of the Year and Player of the Year honors en route to winning a championship. It doesn’t get any better than that.”
Binghamton University President Harvey Stenger
“When I met with him, I saw an educator, a basketball coach and, more importantly, a leader. His track record of coaching success and academic standards reinforces my belief that he will develop the kind of student- athletes who will serve as leaders on and off the court.”
