Mr. Kaminski is a Principal Engineer with the Electric Boat Corporation. Ned is a 2nd generation Shipbuilder who has more than 39 years of experience in the design, manufacturing, and outfitting of both submarine and surface ship modules. At Electric Boat Ned is a Principal Investigator / Project Lead on numerous projects and initiatives intended to meet the VIRGINIA Class Submarine cost and span reduction challenges. Ned has recently been assigned to the General Dynamics Marine Division Structural Value Stream team focused on developing the structural fabrication “best practices” road map for the three companies in the division. He has also been heavily involved in facility construction projects and helping to develop a facility master plan. Ned is a Graduate Lofting Apprentice from the Sun Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company in Chester Pennsylvania, and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology from Rhode Island College. Ned is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
