ATHLETICS AUCTION & DINNER Saturday, May 20, 2017 CONDITIONS OF AUCTION BUYERS RISK Colorado School of Mines Athletics has endeavored to describe the auction items correctly but all items are sold as is. No statement as to conditions, value characteristics, uniqueness, or other representation shall be deemed a warranty by the department.
The property described in the program will be sold under the following conditions: 1. The highest bidder for each auction item shall be the buyer, and if any dispute arises to any bidding, the item disputed shall be immediately put up again as the last disputed bid and resold. In any event the decision of the auctioneer shall be final. 2. The auctioneer may, without giving any reasons, refuse any bid. 3. All sales are final and tax deductible in accordance with the Internal Revenue Service Code and applicable regulations. Please consult your tax advisor for deductiblity. 4. Buyers shall pay for their items at the auction checkout table. 5. Cash, Check, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express will be accepted as payment for purchases. 6. There shall be no refunds or exchanges, except where specifically stated by the donor of the item.
Additional silent auction conditions: 1. Raising of bids must be in increments of $5.00. Bids not according to this rule will be rejected. 2. The highest bidder at the table closing will be constituted the winning bid. 3. The winning bidder’s number and the bid amount will be compiled, printed, and delivered to each table during the live auction. 4. Certificates will be given after proof of payment is shown.
