“Puttin’ on the Ritz” Auction

Black & White Gala Join us for an evening of elegance Friday March 27th 6pm to 11pm Thunder Valley Casino Ballroom Tickets on sale now!

From Our Principal Mr. Rucker: Dear Holy Family Community, It was very exciting to see the newest crop of parents and students at the Kindergarten Registration Night last week. If you have a child going into Kindergarten next year and we didn’t see you, please make sure you come in and see us to secure your spot before Open Enrollment begins on March 15th. Now, on to another topic that I am sure you have heard a lot about over the past few weeks from us…the Auction. You may be tired of hearing about it, but it is important for us to emphasize to all parents just how big of an impact this event has on everyone here. It is the biggest fundraiser of the year, which plays a large part in the Parent Club meeting the goal of raising $100,000 for the year. Meeting this fundraising goal together is what ensures that the tuition rate stays reasonable when compared to our neighboring Catholic Schools. Because of this fact, we ask ALL of our parents to try and be a part of the Auction. We will be maintaining the $60 ticket price in hopes of driving up attendance. I’m sure this thought has crossed more than one mind out there…”Even if we went to the Auction, we can’t afford to bid on anything.” You may be surprised to know that there are just as many attendees at Auctions that leave with an item as there are that do not. What EVERYONE does leave with is a great experience and the understanding that the ticket price for attendance REALLY helps out the school. I can guarantee that you would be hard pressed to go out for an evening of dinner and entertainment for $60/person that would offer you as much fun and excitement as our Auction promises to provide. If you have never attended a school Auction, you really do owe it to yourself to go this year and see what you have been missing. People that attend the Auction make it a point to attend every year because it really is that much fun! So, here I am asking once again – please purchase your tickets to this year’s Auction. You won’t be disappointed and your attendance alone is extremely valuable to the entire school.
