Today is our tailgate party at the Land of Promise on Sunday, May 1 from 4-6 pm! The LOP is located at 2311 N. Main St. All are invited! Parents, please note that the Praise School Choir will have rehearsal tonight from 6-7 pm and the Children’s Choir will rehearse from 6-7:30 pm. We need your help in the nursery! Every Sunday we need 2 volunteers for the 8:30 service and 4 for the 11:15 service to watch the sweet infants and toddlers. Please email Debbie at [email protected] or call 540-552-3869 to find out more! Join us on Sunday, May 22, from 4-6 pm for a fun meal packing event for Stop Hunger Now. For ALL ages children through adults. Ice cream social to follow. For more info, contact Melody at [email protected] WMU is collecting items for Hopetree Family Services in Salem. Items needed (for males & females) are sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher), shampoo, conditioner, deodorant (non-aerosol), and body wash. Donations may be placed in a designated spot in the fellowship hall. As of 4/27/2016 Budget required to date: $656,152.69 Contributions to date: $627,494.18
