HAPPY BIRTHDAY SBAA!!! Did you know that it is SBAA 65th Birthday this year? HAPPY BIRTHDAY SBAA!!! Here is a little history! On January 1, 1951, the Community Athletic Association of Soderville, Minnesota was organized and shares sold at $10.00 per share. This money was used to prepare a new field, which is still in use today (Soderville Ball field is located on Crosstown Blvd., east of Highway 65). In the 1940s and 1950s the Sunday morning games were the social event of the week. Tickets for $.25 - $.50 were sold, there was a refreshment stand and fans cheered. The headlines read “Soderville Wins State B Title” on the sports page of the September 16, 1951 St. Paul Sunday Pioneer Press. Friday, May 20th at Bielenberg Sports Complex. Aidan blasted a three run home run for Blaine Bengals 10U AAA and went 1-1 in the game with three RBIs and three runs scored. It didn't take long for Blaine Bengals 10U AAA to respond as it scored one run of its own in the fourth. Blaine Bengals 10U AAA scored on an RBI single by Ryan Burley.
