If you can handle the puck, pass the puck, shoot the puck, a team needs you. If you can handle the puck, pass the puck, shoot the puck plus skate, a team needs and wants you. No matter how fast you can skate, if you can’t handle the puck with your head up, if you can’t see the ice, you will not play at a very high level. That is why we spend out time working on those basics of stick handling, passing, shooting and skating. That is why we try to scrimmage everyday. We want you to be a player. We want you to be a better player. Over 30 years we have helped produce some pretty good players, some real good players and some world class players. Yes, we are a little old fashioned; we believe in baseball, golf, swimming, etc. Blueline is 4 weeks once a day, because we know more will be retained than if we had 4 one-week sessions. We are not into the off-ice activities or the dry land programs, but they are available at the building if you are interested in them. We could likely have a really interesting conversation about summer travel hockey and select teams as we know the puck will be on your stick more in one day of Blueline than in a weekend tournament.
