INTRODUCTION Installing new LED backup lights are actually very easy. While this guide demonstrates it on a BMW F10 M5, you can use this as a guide to install any other LED reverse light since the concept is the same.

PARTS: T10 LED Reverse Light Bulbs (1) Projector LED Reverse Light Bulbs (1)

Step 1 — BMW F10 M5 Reverse Lights 

Gain access to the back of the trunk



Remove some clips that hold the trunk liner in place.



Tip: You don't have to remove all the clips, just enough so you have enough access.



Pull out the bulb tray.



Press the two clips on the side to release.

Remove the bulb and swap it out with the new LED bulb.

Step 4



Test to see if the LED reverse lights work and enjoy.
