Board Directors hold special meeting The Board of Directors met in a Special Called Meeting on Thursday, July 31, 2014 to discuss recent activity related to a member of the Architectural Review Board (ARB). There had been disagreement amongst the Board members over whether or not a member of the ARB had resigned and how exactly such action had come about. The Board, and other members present for the meeting, agreed to not use the name of the ARB member in their comments so as to avoid the need to go into executive session. On this note, all present were successful in their comments and the full meeting took place in open session. After much discussion was had, the meeting resulted in two motions being made. First, President Davis made a motion to defer a decision on the ARB vacancy until the September Board meeting. This motion was seconded by Director Malek. Discussion ensued on this motion which resulted in a substitute motion being offered by First Vice-President Greg Pearson. Director Pearson motioned to retain the member of the ARB in question and to consider additional appointments to the ARB. This motion was seconded by Second Vice-President Tom Leonard. The motion passed unanimously. .
