FLAAA Monthly Meeting Date: October 14th, 2014 Call to order: By President Al Hauge at 7:15 pm Attendance: Board Members attached. Gambling Report: Dana presented all reports and forms for inspection and approval.

Allowable expenses for July were presented for approval, M/S/C Dana/Scott Lawful Purpose: City of Wyoming up to $1,500.00 M/S/C Jeff/Paul Dept of Revenue taxes and fees up to $7,000.00 M/S/C Dana/Ellen Hallberg for two mini storage units $1650.00 M/S/C Dana/Jeff

Thank Yous: Forest Lake Police Dept for donation in support Of Child Safety and Drug Prevention program. Donation to Chisago County Children's Water Festival. Old Business: New Business: Breakfast meeting update. Insurance increasing for coverage of value of equipment. Al needs to know values of storage lockers and the # of the storage units. Anyone using either of the meeting rooms is asked to clean up after themselves. We have a lease with the School for this meeting room, heat, concessions, phone, etc., it is a great value for us to use for the year. The fee for using the large meeting room is $20. The small room is free. This fee is not from FLAAA it is from the School District. Committees: Property: Myron- no report Gambling Myron reported they have Convention coming up soon. Finance: Andrea reported a finance meeting October 29th. Scrip Program: Andrea said she has lots of cards available, she has a list or retailers as everyone gets ready to shop for the Holidays. Andrea will be sent to the sports at the end of the year and it will restart in 2015. Rosters and Admin fees: Myron reports all are in.

Ethics: Myron no report Action Items: Paul reported newsletter coming out soon. Sports Directors get info to Paul. Concession Stand: Andrea reported that she is working on the financial report and report from Chrissy Hauge for the next meeting. Committees currently not active: Management & Directorate Succession Planning, By-laws, Parade

Programs: Hockey: Pete reported try outs are coming to an end soon. Right now they have 3 Bantams, 5 pee week’s, 4 squirts, 2 8U, 2 12U, 2 10U and 15 mites. Baseball: Avery reported they have and open house Dec. 7th. They have partnered with the Park Board to make Kuelenkamp a 13U field. They City is scheduled to aerate the fields next week. Fastpitch: Dave reported they have finished fall ball. They hosted the 12U state tournament and all went well. They hosted play dates on Sundays and had no complaints. They have elections coming up this month. Football:

Al reported one team extended their season. Season over and everything went well.

Modified Pitch Softball: Paul no report Hoops: no report Volleyball: Scott reported they are working on forming teams and finding coaches right now. LaCrosse: Jeff reported they are off season now. Adult League: Dwight reported the season is over. Everything went great and they made some money. They have a Halloween Tournament coming up on the 25th. They are hoping to have Vanelli's out there. Just a fun Tournament, no pressure to win. Hoping to make money for lights for Fenway. Please remember to vote November 4th. FLAAA Philosophy –To support all organized, approved youth activities in a positive environment. The primary activities are athletics that are activities operating under the umbrella of FLAAA. The primary areas of support are the communities included in the boundaries of Independent School district 831. The goal of FLAAA is to encourage positive learning from coaches and role models and to develop good citizenship now and in the future for the betterment of the individual and its communities. FLAAA also supports: other youth activities, humanitarian needs, community events, schools and requests on an individual basis as approved by the Board of Directors.

MISSION STATEMENT: Supporting and participating in the positive development of youth.
