BOONE COUNTY COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS January, 2016
2016 INCENTIVES As of January 1, 2016 we will no longer have quarterly or annual incentive drawings. A monthly drawing will take place and the reward will be more substantial for Boone County Community Corrections clients. Each client will earn one ticket each week if they are being compliant and have no written warnings, make a payment, turn in support group meeting verification, turn in receipts and turn in a paystub. The monthly incentive will consist of a $35.00 Wal-Mart gift card as well as a $15.00 Subway gift card. One additional hour of grocery shopping will also be permitted to the client to utilize the gift cards!

Boone County has approved and submitted their grant application for 2016/2017 grant cycle. Thank you to Michael, Kari, Penny and Annette for all of their hard work. With new legislation 1006 funding is available through the grant. Boone County is hopeful to launch some new programing in the upcoming year.

Boone County Community Corrections received a performance bonus last year from IDOC. The total amount awarded was $16845.00. Congratulations BCCC!!
FYI With the weather and fridged temperatures this time of year here are some helpful hints of what to have in your car to be prepared for a snow emergency. It could save your life and the lives of your passengers…… Shovel Windshield scraper/small broom Flashlight with extra batteries Battery powered radio Snack foods/ bottles of water Matches and a small candle Extra hats, socks, mittens First aid kit Blankets/ sleeping bag Salt/sand/cat litter Emergency flares/ reflectors Cell phone adapter/ charger Make sure your gas tank is at least ½ full
