BPYC Dress Code The following dress code for males and females has been adopted by the Barbourville Pentecostal Youth Camp Directors. DO NOT wear anything that reveals: undergarments (this includes bra straps) the trunk (belly, back, etc.) of the body chest (no cleavage) shoulders armpits leg area above the knee (in the front) or the bend of the leg (in the back) when standing straight up or when sitting The following are also not allowed: lace, any type of holes, splits, slits, mesh, etc. that reveal undergarments or skin in the prohibited areas (this includes crocheted or any open knit shrugs, sweaters, etc.) jeans/pants with holes that reveal skin form-fitting/tight clothing of any type (including, but not limited to, yoga pants, skinny jeans, and pencil skirts) leggings alone, or under a skirt, dress, or shorts, that do not meet the length requirement pajamas worn outside the barracks area If in doubt, don’t wear it. Please note: Tightness is difficult to measure, but will be determined at the discretion of BPYC Directors. We advise both campers and adults to avoid clothing that draws attention to your curves. * These restrictions include when sitting, standing, participating in sports/activities, praise and worship, etc. ** Camp participants will need a robe or some other appropriate clothing to wear to/from the shower area.
Additional Requirements for PM Services (For AM Services, follow the code above) Girls may wear loose fitting jeans, khakis, dress pants, capri pants, dresses, or skirts, all extending below the knee Please remember: Tightness is difficult to measure, but will be determined at the discretion of BPYC Directors. Males are to wear blue jeans, khakis, or dress pants No shorts or sweat pants are to be worn to PM services

What to bring… Clothing (see Dress Code): Daytime activity clothes 6 days Church clothes 5 nights Underclothes 6 days/nights Shoes (tennis, dress, and shower) Sweatshirt or jacket Bathrobe (to wear to and from the shower area): length must be below the knee Barracks: Sleeping bag and/or twin-size sheets, blankets, or quilts Pillow Hygiene: Towels Washcloths Soap and Shampoo Deodorant Toothbrush and Toothpaste Hairspray / Gel Hairbrush / Comb Sunscreen / Sun block Miscellaneous: Bible Paper / Pen Umbrella Phone card Sports equipment Please note: BPYC will provide basic sporting equipment. Be sure to label your belongings with your name and telephone number. Camera Spending money for concessions, crafts, offerings, etc. ($50.00 recommended) DO NOT BRING THE FOLLOWING: (IF THESE ITEMS ARE BROUGHT TO CAMP, THEY WILL BE CONFISCATED AND YOU WILL BE SUBJECT TO DISCIPLINARY ACTION) Firearms or other dangerous weapons Illegal substances Tobacco products (cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, etc.) Fireworks Portable audio/video devices, PDA’s, CD’s, DVD’s, etc.
