BREAKFAST FORUM Wednesday, 12 October 2011
Temperature wars: Reconciling comfort, cost and carbon? CoreNet Global UK and UCL University College London invite you to a stimulating breakfast meeting on Wednesday 12 October, an excellent way to start the day with food for both body and mind. Estate departments are increasingly required to help their organisations deliver energy savings, reduce carbon emissions, and meet corporate social responsibility targets. The challenges in doing so are formidable, with articulate users demanding comfort for their productivity. How can corporate real estate professionals meet these challenges in the coming years? The session will be introduced by Professor Alexi Marmot, and we will then hear the very latest research findings from three PhD students who are actively involved now in applied research on this theme. UCL has kindly offered to host the session in its historic Wilkins Building, conveniently located near Euston. Due to the high level of international interest in the session, it will be repeated through WebEx for CoreNet Global Young Leaders.
