Bridgewater Youth Soccer Association General Meeting Minutes September 7, 2012 Meeting called to Order at 7:07 pm Members Present: Ron Barron, Ed Meaney, Holly Ridge, David Holmberg, Jim Frazier, Matthew Leighton, Karen Grant, Shaun McDonough, Greg Dube, Kevin Parrish, Kevin Sullivan, Bryan Berry, Kendra Tansey, Brian Tirrell, Mike Ferrini, Tony Espisito, Curtis Bailey, Todd Davis, Paul Manzone, Robert Bodendorf. Secretary’s Report: (Ed) • August 14, 2012 Board of Directors minutes have been posted to the website. Karen, Todd 2nd, Unanimous. • August 3, 2012 General Meeting minutes have been posted to the website. No Quorum. Treasurer’s Report: (George) • Fall Rec update – 2011 679 (591 for 2012 to date). • Spring Travel updates. • Challenge Cup – made $8251. • Summer Instructional – Net $631. (Thinking about possible change to allow 4s in Fall program.) Registrar’s Report: (Matthew) • • • • • • •
Spring Travel Tryouts 9/1 – 9/25 signups. Please register online CORI data needed for lot of Fall Coaches. 11/1 6- 7:30 11/3 4- 5:30 in person regs Uniforms to stay the same. Need to assign Spring Travel Division coordinators. Switching to new sock for Travel uniform. Concession schedule to be emailed out.
Fall 2012: (George, Todd) • Ready to go, lots of late registrations. • Numbers almost identical to last year. • Starting time has been moved back 1 hour. 9:00 start. • Need help with field maintain and parking lot setup. • Recycling ready to go – green barrels out for stuff. Handouts for folks. SSSL: (Ron, Matthew) • Nothing really new – meeting in september. Fundraising: (Holly) • Updates • Revs Group night event 9/22 – emails sent. Approx 50 sold already. • BYSA 5k Road Race in October -10/28 between 10:30 – 12 is the plan. Start at Rainbows End up down summer. Running Scared 5K. Still working some of the logistics with shirts and timing company. Medals/trophies for age bracket winners M/F. $25 for adults, $20 for students up to 18. Roads will be open to traffic during the race. Racewire.com.. 1 police detail and emt. Will be on coolrunning.com as well. • Football? - still in discussion for Super Bowl raffle. Website: (Ed, Holly) • Most programs have been updated for 2012. Fields/Equipment: (Rob) • Alarm. • Lights. • Fall Field day went pretty well. Need to re-do all the goal mount areas.
