12 June 2012 To whom it may concern, Subject : Pole Star DSAS Mk2 Ship Security Alert System I refer to your submission of 24 May 2012 requesting acceptance of the Pole Star DSAS Mk2 Ship Security Alert System for use on Cook Islands flagged vessels. The Cook Islands Administration is pleased to confirm that the said equipment is acceptable for installation on Cook Islands flagged vessels and is deemed to comply with the requirements of Solas Chapter XI-2 and the performance standards detailed in IMO resolution MSC.136(76) as revised by MSC 147(77). Any modifications to the system must be submitted to this Administration for acceptance.
