580 West Hill Road, New Hartford, CT. 06057 Course Description: A 1.5m loop around the Brodie Park grounds with a mix of dirt roads, walking paths, some grass sections and a beach crossing. Juniors race on the same course as all other fields. Registration/sign in will be in Berkshire Hall. Racing Licenses: A USA Cycling license is required. Annual race licenses are available on line at usacycling.org. One-day licenses for CAT5 men and women may be purchased onsite for $10 for use in races open to those categories. Staging: All races will stage in rows of eight riders. Call ups will be based on the following: CT series of CX points followed by CrossResults.com points followed by day of event registrations by bib number. Juniors and Masters: 16-18, 13-15 and 9-12 juniors will start separately. There will be a time gap in the start between fields as indicated above. *NOTE: 13-15 and 15-18 start times have been changed to 10AM. 9-12 juniors will race on a modified version of the course. The Masters fields will have separate starts in the 40+, 50+ and 60+ order. Starts will be separated as indicated above. Each age group will be scored separately. Absolutely no course inspection while other riders are racing. You may only enter the course for inspection after the winner of the previous race has finished and the Chief Referee has indicated that the course is open. Riders inspecting the course who pass any rider still competing may lose call up position and/or be disqualified. Online Registration is available at www.bikereg.com (online surcharge applies). Entry fee includes Rider Surcharge of $1 and USA Cycling Insurance Surcharge of $3.75. Registration fees will increase by $5 three weeks before the event. Day-of event registration is available subject to field limits. A $10 surcharge applies for all day-of registrations. Registration and number pickup for each category closes 30 minutes before the posted start time.
