Broxbourne Council’s World War One commemorative programme This November, as part of Broxbourne Council’s World War One commemorative programme, a display of ceramic remembrance poppies will be installed at the Cheshunt Old Pond roundabout over the Remembrance Day weekend.
Year 9 Motivate Art groups comprising of 36 students have created 204 Poppies for the installation. Each student designed their own, following observational drawing of different Poppy species and maquette making. The students voted for the red out of 3 possible choices.
