BU IN THE NCAA TOURNAMENT • The Terriers are in the NCAA tournament for the 15th time in their 66-year history as a varsity program ... 31st-year head coach Neil Roberts has been at the helm for 14 of the trips and was an assistant in 1980 for BU’s first-ever appearance. • BU has made four trips in the past 11 years with the last one occurring in 2008 when the Terriers captured the America East tournament crown. • This will be the BU’s first NCAA trip as a Patriot League member after falling one point short of repeating as the PL regular season champions. • BU is 6-14-1 all-time in the NCAAs, having advanced past the opening round in 1985, 1988, 1990, 1993, 1994 and 2008. • The Terriers made their first appearance at UConn in 1980 ...
