Can you spare an hour or donate a cake? Or better still both! On Saturday 4th October the PTA will be serving refreshments at the Open Morning. Please leave any cake donations (donuts, muffins, cup cakes etc) in school reception on Friday 3rd or in the dining hall from 8.15am on Saturday 4th. If you are able to help serve refreshments for an hour in the canteen between 9am and 12pm then please email Kate who will be organising the event and the canteen rota —[email protected]. All money raised goes to the school—Many Thanks

Come and find out some of the ways that you could help to make a positive and tangible difference to the Verulam School community PTA AGM AND PLANNING MEETING 7.15pm-9pm on Tuesday 21st October Bradshaw Building Verulam PTA already makes a difference by: * Providing refreshments and a friendly welcome at official school events * Giving you the opportunity for an evening out with friends, or a chance to get to know other Verulam parents through a variety of social events * Raising significant funds which allow the school to provide additional opportunities and facilities which are not affordable from the school budget. Unfortunately, there is no magic group of parents always available to organise and run all that we would like to do. It is, in reality, a juggling act for us all, fitting in our PTA roles and activities around other work and family commitments and just generally busy lives. So, come and join the discussions. Find out how you could help to spread the load. No major commitments involved (honest!), just an hour or so here and there that’s all that is needed—you don’t have to volunteer for every event.. We are looking for volunteers to display a board outside their house to advertise the Verulam Winter Fair ibeing held on Saturday 22 November 2014. These will be standard sized Estate Agency boards provided by Cassidy & Tate. We are particularly interested in houses that are on main roads in St Albans as this will maximise the visibility of the boards, however all locations are considered. If you can help, or want more information, then please email Tania Lewis at [email protected]
