MCC works with local partners to make sure people have access to clean water closer to their homes, both today and in the future around the world. We will be collecting coins until Sunday, February 26th. MEN’S ENCOUNTER @ Victory Valley Camp, Zionsville, PA April 7 – 9, What is MEN’S ENCOUNTER? Men’s Encounter is a weekend to get away from the stress, distractions and boredom of everyday life and be in an environ-ment where we are more likely to hear from God... to meet Him... to encounter Him. The goal is to grow into a deeper relationship with God through Jesus Christ and walk in the freedom God desires for your life so you can truly be a man of God. It is a unique weekend, planned by men for men, that will kick start a life of freedom and a renewed walk with God with some surprises along the way. MEN’S ENCOUNTER is designed for all men ages 18 to 98. There is a brochure in your mailbox with more information and a registration form. Additional copies are on the shelf in the foyer. If needed, contact our church office for more copies.

“CELEBRATION OF SHALOM: STORIES OF THE CHURCH IN MISSION” Through acts of service, struggles for justice, faithful presence, and evangelism, local Mennonites have found creative ways to share the Good News with our communities. On Monday, February 13, 7 - 9 PM at Fisher Auditorium (Dock Woods Community, Lansdale), join James Krabill from Mennonite Mission Network for “Celebration of Shalom: Stories of the Church in Mission”, an interactive evening of storytelling and fellowship. This event is free; snacks will be available with donations supporting local mission initiatives. Come join Souderton Mennonite Church at an event called “The Dwelling Place”, Saturday, February 18 at 7 PM. This will be a time of worship, praise and prayer, led by students from Eastern University. For more information, please email: [email protected] or call 215-723-3088.

RELIEF KITS AND COMFORTERS NEEDED MCC is currently requesting donations of relief kits and comforters. Relief kits provide valuable supplies to families whose lives have been disrupted by war or disaster. A handmade comforter provides not only warmth but also a tangible message to people that their needs are not forgotten. For more information on either of these items, visit mcc.org/kits, or contact the Material Resources Center in Ephrata, PA, at (717) 733-2847 or [email protected]. Contents (NEW items only, in original packaging)  4 large bars bath soap  1 plastic bottle shampoo (13–24 oz; place in resealable plastic bag)  4 large bars laundry soap (Some stores carry Fels Naptha®, Sunlight® or Zote® brands)  4 adult-size toothbrushes  4 new bath towels (medium weight, dark or bright colors)  2 wide-tooth combs (6–8 in)  1 fingernail clipper(good quality)  1 box adhesive bandages(minimum 40 count, assorted)  1 package sanitary pads (18–24 count thin maxi) Thank you for limiting your generosity to the items listed. Due to strict regulations some countries have on the expiration date of toothpaste, MCC no longer asks for toothpaste to be donated with the kits. Instead, we will provide toothpaste with the kits when they ship from our warehouse. Place contents in a box or bag and deliver to an MCC drop-off location. The kit will be re-packed in a new 5-gallon plastic pail with lid.
