Discuss and brainstorm ideas related to each. Again, students will be very familiar with each type of bullying. Discuss the various ways students can Defend, Support, and Report when dealing with each type of bullying. Students will also be familiar with the concepts of Defend, Support, and Report. Your Board of Education may have different terms. If so, use the terminology with which students are familiar. 2. Explain that students will be divided into five groups and each assigned one type of bullying. They will be expected to visually describe how their particular variety of bullying can be represented, and how they can best demonstrate the strategies of Defend, Support, and Report in response, using a series of tableaux and photography. In addition, they will write a paragraph for each strategy explaining and justifying how they choose to Defend, Support, and Report in response to their particular type of bullying. For inspiration, Examples of Student Work (Resource #1) can be shown to students.
