FIRM NEWS Stephen Price Profiled in Nashville Business Journal's “2015 Best of the Bar Awards” Publication Stephen Price, managing partner of Burr’s Nashville office, was recognized in the Nashville Business Journal’s special publication for the 2015 Best of the Bar Awards published on June 12, 2015. Price was included in the medium-sized firm category, and earned the distinction based on votes from other nominees within the category. When asked what three qualities are most needed for success in the legal profession, Price advised that a successful lawyer should be hard-working, detailoriented and a creative problem solver. Burr Named “Healthiest Employer” in Fort Lauderdale For 2015 Burr & Forman has been honored by the South Florida Business Journal on the publication's annual list of healthiest employers for 2015. This is the first time the firm's Fort Lauderdale office has been named the "Healthiest Employer" in the small company category. Since the first wellness initiative was implemented at Burr in 2008, the firm has continued its commitment to healthy living through a variety of programs aimed at physical fitness, nutrition and reducing stress. The firm’s wellness initiatives include annual biometric health screenings, an online health coaching website, a smoking cessation program, and flu shots to its employees and spouses.
