BUSHMEAD PRIMARY SCHOOL NEWSLETTER (6) – APRIL 2016 Dear Parents/Carers, Welcome to another edition of the school newsletter and to the Summer Term. ANNUAL REPORTS This year the plan is to send Annual Reports to parents towards the end of the term. The last couple of years we have issued these in May followed by assessment outcomes in July. This year we will combine them. SUMMER? The weather has more of a wintry feel to it but nevertheless it is the Summer term and we can move to the summer term school uniform. For a reminder this is: White polo shirts can be worn instead of white blouses or shirts, and summer dresses are acceptable for those who wish to wear one. Ties need not be worn but footwear needs to remain sensible!!
CONSIDERATE PARKING We have recently had complaints from local residents about inconsiderate parking. We know this is an issue for many schools and Luton Borough Council do have a rota for visiting schools and their traffic wardens will issue fines to motorists who park illegally. If you do drive to school, please park considerately; not just because you will want to avoid any possible fine but because it is the right thing to do! Alex Miller Headteacher
