Job Title – Business Development Manager Salary - Up to £35,000 per annum dependent on experience Location – Coleshill Office, Birmingham We are seeking a Business Development Manager, for our Guardians Business, to join our team in sourcing new business across our Midland Region based from our Coleshill office. What You'll Do You'll be playing an integral role in strengthening and developing our commercial client base. You'll be engaging with a range of existing and potential clients to build a strong and productive portfolio which delivers quality and sustainable income against targets, and lays the groundwork for trusting and productive business partnerships. The role will require a strong new business, solution selling, proven record of success. Must have a solid track record of closing business and excellent presentation manner. You'll Do This By:  Identifying and developing new business and maintaining existing business – ensuring individual targets are met and exceeded.  Prospect by telephone and generating selling opportunities.  Ability to solve problems and the acumen when to escalate, to line manager, for consultation.  Lead by example ensuring activity levels are maintained and time management is maximised.  Produce a monthly bulletin and other strategic reports to the requirement of the business.  Demonstrate the ability to produce strong professional Security Risk Assessments that attained to the standards of the company.  Develop new and existing business using multiple media including phone, email, face-to-face and online searches, to generate valuable selling opportunities.  Utilise and maximise the capabilities of our CRM system SalesForce.com to manage sales opportunities, quotations and funnel.  Develop, communicate, and regularly update a territory and account plans designed to assist in the achievement of sales targets and to inform future sales forecasting activities.  Provide solutions to customer needs. The Skills You'll Need You'll need strong experience of business development in a commercial environment and proven success in building productive business relationships. You will need to be focused on identifying and winning exclusive new business opportunities you will be incredibly driven & hungry to achieve significant success and be able to thrive in a highly competitive market. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate success in a new business recruitment environment and have had some exposure to solution selling.
