CURRENT PROJECTS GO BUS Description NanoStruck is in the process of partnering with the Government of Ontario via Buttcon Limited to treat and recycle water used to clean public transit buses; a larger version of a commonly used car wash. The bus wash is located in Halton, a suburb of Toronto, Ontario.   Problem The pressure washing of buses overloads their current septic system, which is not equipped to effectively treat the wash water effluent. The effluent contains toxic levels of various chemicals, such as, hydrocarbons, oils and grease that are affecting the proper functioning of the septic system and causing it to overflow with the toxic water into the surrounding soil.   Solution The NP 2.0 unit removes the chemicals and will allow the septic system to function correctly.   Upside The Go Bus project becomes a credible reference site for NanoStruck to win similar contracts to treat water with the Toronto Transit Commissions, Canada’s national train service Via Rail Canada,York Region Transit, Brampton Transit, etc.

CURRENT PROJECTS W.R.A.I.N. „  NanoStruck and WRAIN, the Water Research and Innovation Network, a government funded

commercialization and innovation hub for the Ontario water sector, to combine its proprietary nano filter technology with established water treatment circuits, to produce an on site unit to treat effluent water from a car wash. The water will be reused by the car wash, in a closed loop system. „  NanoStruck will also combine its proprietary nano filter technology with established water treatment

circuits to produce an on site unit that treats effluent water from an Ontario based food manufacturing facility. The unit will produce salable by-products, including but not limited to solid fertilizers, with the resulting treated water to be recycled for use within the factory. „  WRAIN and NanoStruck will treat a sewage lagoon, in Ontario, Canada. NanoStruck will

use its non-toxic, biosurfactant – based, bacterial growth enhancer, NanoGro to reduce the odours and meet the COA requirements for discharging the sewage lagoon wastewater to the local water course.

CURRENT PROJECTS BACARDI „  NanoStruck has designed a treatment facility and co-generation system to treat the vinasse effluent from

Bacardi’s La Galarza rum distillery, south of Mexico City. „  The system is designed to both treat the plant effluent to meet Semarnat (Mexican Secretariat of

Environment and Natural Resources) standards and provide a Return on Investment to Bacardi in the form of sellable electricity and fertilizer produced as by-products of the plant.

CURRENT PROJECT PUERTO VALLARTA LEACHATE TREATMENT PLANT „  Letter of intent to install a plant to treat the leachate water at the site „  CAN $2.21M purchase price including financing costs  „  Major problem with leachate disposal at a significant number of landfill sites „  NanoStruck’s on site leachate treatment solutions reduce costs and ensure

municipalities and private landfill owners are fully compliant with the strictest regulatory requirements. „  Significant potential to roll out leachate treatment plants throughout Mexico

and the Americas. „  Incorporating NanoStruck’s proprietary NanoFiltration technology, the Plant

reduces heavy metals and other contaminants by up to 99%, rendering the treated leachate fully compliant with the requirements of NOM-001-3 SEMARNAT (Mexico’s Environment Ministry). „  Allows the landfill owner (municipality) to clean water locally and safely

dispose the treated wastewater into local water courses or use it for agricultural irrigation, saving money on offsite third party treatment and associated transportation charges.
