Hi Everyone, WOW, has it been hot!! Hopefully the heat hasn’t interfered with your summertime fun and that you are enjoying yourself and your families. It has been busy at the shop. UPS and FEDEX have been making deliveries almost every day and we have lots of new fabrics and patterns to inspire you. The Halloween and Christmas fabrics have arrived just in time for your holiday projects.
The new Fall class schedule will be on the website in a few weeks. We will be offering a variety of fun classes including Purse classes, Holiday quilt and table runner classes, as well as, Beginning Machine Piecing and Beginning Hand Appliqué classes. We are also planning our first Girls Night Out evening on September 16th. Watch the website for all the details. The Third Monday Demo will be on August 15th at either 11AM or 6:30PM. This month’s topic is how to add (and bind) scalloped borders to your quilt. Come and join us to see how easy it is to create a scalloped border for your next quilt project. For All Applique Enthusiasts—Linda Jones will be teaching her Dimensional Applique and Embroidery techniques in a two session class starting on Saturday, August 20 from 1PM to 4 PM. Linda has won numerous awards for her outstanding appliqué quilts and we are excited that she will be sharing her appliqué techniques with her students. This will be a terrific class for anyone who wants to improve their appliqué skills. We have a few openings in the following classes: Oh, Christmas Tree Saturday, August 6 and 13 Bethany Bag, Monday, August 22 and 29 at 6:30 PM Three Dimensional Applique Saturday, August 20 and 27 1—4 PM Please find this month’s coupon below.
