Grade Point Averaging Mullin High School is on a weighted 5.0 grading system. Most college/scholarship information is based upon a 4.0 system. The following is to help you determine what your G.P.A. would be on a 4.0 system. College Un-weighted 4.0 G.P.A. 1. When figuring a 4.0 G.P.A. give yourself 4 points for an “A”, 3 for a “B” and 2 for a “C”. At MHS 90-100 is an “A”, 80-89 is a “B” and 70-79 is a “C”. 2. Add up your points and divide by the number of semester classes you have taken (including failed courses). This will result in an un-weighted G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale. High School Weighted 5.0 G.PA. 1. Give yourself points by following the chart attached. Advance scale is for an AP class or Dual Credit course (if passed). 2.
