Pre-Election Prayer Walk

About the Pre-Election Prayer Walk The Capitol Commission California Pre-Election Prayer Walk is a gathering to pray for our state and national leaders and the upcoming elections, in accordance with 1 Timothy 2:1-4, at a time when America desperately needs God’s help. Participants check-in at the West Steps of the California State Capitol in Sacramento (along 10th Street) and then walk peacefully around the Capitol building individually or in small groups while praying for our government leaders. Please note that the Prayer Walk is non-political, is not a rally or a protest, and takes place when the Capitol building is closed and unoccupied. Arrive any time on Monday, November 5, between 6 and 8 PM and allow one hour for the Prayer Walk. Parking is available on-street or in the parking garage on the corner of 10th and L streets. Everyone is invited, so please tell a friend!

Prayer Stops Walkers start at the West steps of the State Capitol (Stop 1) and then continue around the Capitol individually or in small groups, stopping to pray at each Prayer Stop.
