Call for Abstracts Submission Deadline: Monday, April 17, 2017
Abstract Submission Guidelines The abstract driven portion of the program will focus on 3 – 4 minute moderated poster presentations to allow for optimal interaction between presenters and the audience. You are asked to submit your abstract with the intent of it being presented in a moderated poster session.

Abstracts are to be submitted via the official electronic abstract submission website and should be limited to 300 words in length. There will be a 25‐word count deduction for each table or graph you include in your abstract.

Abstract Format: Introduction: A brief statement of the purpose of the study and the current state of research in the field. Methods: The methods of study or experimental approach clearly, but briefly, defined. Results: A summary of the results of the study, including sufficient details to support those conclusions. These may be presented in a brief table. Conclusions: A statement concerning the significance of the work and its possible implications for future research. Maximum Word Count: Table/Graph Word Deduction:

The abstract text MUST NOT identify either the authors or institutions from which the work originated. There will be a separate screen online in which to indicate all authors, including the presenting author. Do not use footnotes or references.

Disclosure information must be provided for each author listed in the author block.

Indicate whether the abstract you are submitting has been previously presented. If yes, please provide detail of this presentation (i.e. location, date, etc.).

All abstracts must be completely submitted, and all edits must be made by Monday, April 17, 2017, 11:59 p.m. (EST). Make sure your abstract submission reads COMPLETE on the final page.

Abstracts submitted by Industry: Abstracts submitted by companies (pharmaceutical, device or other) will be considered, however, if accepted, the abstract must be presented by a physician or resident at the meeting. The abstract must also be sponsored by a Section member.
The Program Committee for the Section will review all abstracts in a blinded format through an online review process. At that time, they will make their final selections for the 2017 Scientific Program. The presenting author of each abstract will be notified of the decision via email by late June. Canadian Journal of Urology – Permission to Reprint In agreement with the MA-AUA, the Canadian Journal of Urology seeks to reprint all abstracts accepted for the 2017 Annual Meeting. Should you not want your abstract reprinted in this journal, you must select “No” on the drop down menu in the abstract submitter. If you select “Yes”, your abstract (if selected for the program) will be reprinted in the Canadian Journal of Urology in August 2017.
