ELLISIMO CLUB - Basics This class is also open to Unity and Spirit owners. This Ellisimo Club will focus on the basics of machine embroidery. We’ll explore the features of the machine and how they can make your embroidery easier and more beautiful. This class is especially for new (or newer) owners, those who haven't done much embroidery or for those who want a review of tips and tricks. We’ll also cover embroidery placement. Cameo Club Workshops TWO WORKSHOPS THIS QUARTER! In the first, we will focus on embellishing clothing using heat applied vinyl. Bring a t-shirt to class and take home a cute piece of wearable art! You’ll learn tips and tricks, review different kinds of heat vinyl available and how to get great results with your Cameo cutter. In the second, we will show you how to create etched glass projects. You can make wonderful, personalized holiday gifts with etched glass—from candle holders to bake ware, vases to picture frames. It’s easier than you think! Remember: bring a completed project using the last class technique (cutting fabric -July, heat applied vinyl September) and be entered into a drawing for a nice prize. Cameo Club Workshops TWO WORKSHOPS THIS QUARTER! In the first, we will focus on embellishing clothing using heat applied vinyl. Bring a t-shirt to class and take home a cute piece of wearable art! You’ll learn tips and tricks, review different kinds of heat vinyl available and how to get great results with your Cameo cutter. In the second, we will show you how to create etched glass projects. You can make wonderful, personalized holiday gifts with etched glass—from candle holders to bake ware, vases to picture frames. It’s easier than you think! Remember: bring a completed project using the last class technique (cutting fabric -July, heat applied vinyl September) and be entered into a drawing for a nice prize. A short supply list will be sent prior to class. Class fee $10 and kit fee $5 for each class.

* * * AMERICAN SEWING GUILD * * * The American Sewing Guild (ASG) meets each month at both Kingdom stores. This group is a national non-profit organization dedicated to people who believe sewing is a rewarding and creative activity. Chapters promote sewing in local communities through encouragement, education and support. They also host social events such as fashion shows and sewing fairs and many do sewing related service projects for the community. Check the calendar page for details on time and location. Come visit at the next meeting and enjoy the camaraderie with like minded people. All ages are welcome. 8
