A Word From Our Director Dear Parents, Reminders: May 1-5 - Teacher Appreciation Week May 10 - Special Mother’s Day Chapel May 11 - Spring Concert May 14 - Mother’s Day! May 25 - Kinder Readi Graduation May 29 - Closed for Memorial Day Upcoming Dates: June 5 - CCP closed for Staff Development June 6 - Spring Term begins
With the end of the school year rapidly approaching, it’s time to begin thinking about summer and fall enrollment at CCP for your children. Please make sure that you let you child’s teacher know if you plan on having your child enrolled in the summer program and in the fall within the next few weeks. On Wednesday, May 10, CCP will be conducting Mother’s Day Chapel during the morning hours. All mothers are invited to join their child in chapel that morning for a special service. Please check with your child’s teachers for the time to be here so that you can join your child for chapel. Just a reminder that the weather is getting hotter; so please make sure your child has sunscreen here at school and open-toed shoes are not allowed at school. Happy Mother’s Day to all of you.

Nursery I:
Toddler II:
We are excited to have Mrs. Sanchez joining us again in the Nursery! She is so happy to be with the babies. As the flowers bloom this month, we will be exploring nature and learning about colors! WE will be singing Jesus Loves Me So! and talking about his love for us. We look forward to helping your little one grow through love and nurture . Ms. Paulita and Mrs. Effie
Summer is almost here! With the warmer weather on the way please be sure that your little one has brought weather appropriate clothing for their cubbies for those possible potty accidents. For the month of May we will be discussing bugs and our animal friends. Be on the lookout for a “Bring a Stuffed Animal Day.” Our Spring Concert will be on May 11 and we ask that your child wears green.
Nursery II: Taking Big steps in Nursery II! The one-year-olds are walking and we are so happy and proud of them! This month we celebrate Moms! We’ll be working on eyy and hand coordination, sorting, and learning how to be gentle with one another. Our story and song are “Jesus Loves the Children,” “Happy Mother’s Day.” Looking forward to a great month, Mrs. Lori Wobbler I: Dear Wobbler I Families, In the month of May we will be exploring flowers and nature. We will be doing a lot of fun crafts and activities that include leaves and “rain.” Reminder: Please be sure to read your childs daily sheet as we write about your child’s day and any needs we may have for the room or child. Thank you, Ms. Caitlin and Ms. Meghann Wobbler II: It feels like summer is here! On Friday's we will be having water day outside, so please make sure we have water clothes/shoes, and sunscreen. This month we will be following along with our curriculum, numbers 1-5, alphabet, our shapes will be triangles and squares, and our colors will be green and blue. Just a reminder the class code for the remind app is @wobbler2b. We have had great success using the app and we really appreciate all the parents that are using it.

This month we will celebrate Spring, Mommies and all things beautiful. Expect lots of pretty pastel art and a special Mother's Day gift. Pre K I is getting ready for a Spring Concert May 11 and we hope to see you there! We are also getting prepared for a few field trips that are coming up! The students are already up to their eyeballs in fun hands-on activities, but we have so many more exciting activities planned for them! We just know this is going to be a fun-tastic month for everyone! Ms. Alexis & Ms. Te’a Pre K II: April showers bring May flowers! We re jumping into May and we have so many activities planned for Mother’s Day and Spring! We are looking forward to a fun month ahead! Please make sure to join us for the Spring Concert May 11! Ms. Rosa Kinder Readiness: We can’t believe that we are almost done with the school year! Kinder Readiness has already gone through the whole alphabet and we are now in “review mode.” Graduation will be May 25 at 6:00 p.m. so please be ready to check them out at the normal time, 5:30, and back to Kinder Readiness at 5:45 to get them settled and changed into their graduation gowns.
