Experienced and Professional Softball Instructors (see Staff Bios) and expanded camp staff will engage youth campers of various age and development levels to increase technical and tactical aspects of this sport. Each day will feature age and skill-level appropriate fun drills in a competitive environment. There will be emphasis on group and individual skill development in general and for specific skill positions in particular. Separate Hitting, Catching, and Pitching Instructors will be on staff representing Travel/Club teams, High School teams, and from local College teams. Gamelike situations will be used to help increase softball awareness and how team and individual strategies are employed
Camp 1: Summer Softball Skills*, July 11-15th, 9AM-3PM Monday-Friday Camp 2: Tryout Tune-Up**, July 25-29th, 9AM=3PM Monday – Friday * 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U campers. ** Geared towards experienced softball youth (10U, 12U) and teenage (14U, 16U) campers to prepare them for Travel/Club softball tryouts (usually August). An emphasis on speed, power, and awareness is stressed as the keys to employing the advanced technical and tactical aspects of this sport.
Camp 1, $250/player for five day camp. Camp 2, $280/player for five day camp. Early Registration Discounts available. Don’t delay – these camps fill early.
Multiple field complex, indoor clean bathrooms Daily concessions, plenty of parking, pavilions, and batting cages. Instructor Background Checks and Security provided. Tee Shirt and Sponsor Give-aways Nutritionist on staff (free fruit daily) Sports Therapist/Psychologist on staff 12/14U campers and parents invited to a College Recruiting Q&A Session Thursday evening Skill Position Instructors on staff Individual Player Evaluations Camp awards, certificates, and sponsor prizes Multiple inter/intrasquad games with umpires Indoor alternatives secured nearby for unexpected weather Early Drop-Off for campers can be arranged with extra fee
