Campsmount Ski Trip 2014 Same price as 2013, All Evening Activities Included Campsmount Academy has developed a reputation for running very successful ski trips. In recent years we have visited Romania, Bulgaria, Austria, Italy and France, offering the opportunity for students to experience the challenges and excitement of this exhilarating sport combined with the chance to see a different country and culture. Next year we are delighted to be able to offer the opportunity to once again visit Le Corbier in the French Alps. We know following the last three years’ trips that this resort will provide an excellent experience at a very competitive price for our students. Your son/daughter has expressed an interest in this trip. Three members of staff will accompany the students, Miss G Lévy, Mrs C Allen and Mr M Mckie. All of the staff are experienced in running trips abroad and the trip leaders hold the SCO1 qualification required by the governors. The trip is organised by Equity Ski, who have been used by Campsmount on previous occasions. The trip will leave Saturday 25th January 2014 and return Saturday 1st February 2014 The cost of the trip will be £840 and would be payable in instalments for which a payment card will be issued. The final instalment would need to be made by Monday 14th October 2013. This price is based upon an agreed number of students in the group. Any cancellations could jeopardise the smooth running of the trip. Included in the cost are:
Travel to and from the resort by coach and air (flight details are unknown at this time) Full board Hotel accommodation in the resort. Ski, helmet and boot hire, Lift pass, 4 hours a day ski tuition All evening activities Full insurance cover

Under the 1988 Education act details of the cost are broken down into chargeable items and voluntary contributions. On this trip the voluntary contributions amount to £840. If you would like your son/daughter to take part in this trip please complete the form below and return it to Miss Lévy or Mr Mckie with a non-refundable deposit of £100. (Cheques made payable to Campsmount Academy Fund). A second non-refundable deposit of £200 must be paid by Monday 20th May 2013 followed by a third deposit of £200 by Monday 8th July 2013. The final balance of £340 must be paid by Monday 14th October 2013. All monies are paid to Equity and not held by the college. Any cancellation is subject to their penalties. All students must hold their own passport to travel by air. This must be checked by the college at least 2 months before departure. Students will also need their own EHIC card. Both the passport and EHIC card must be in date until April 2014. Places are limited in number and this year will be allocated on a first come basis. As this trip involves travel abroad, the organisers reserve the right to refuse participation by students who, in their opinion, would be a liability to either themselves or the group.
