Candle Lake Curling Club; Facility Rental Policy Revised 2015 Nov 26 Approved on____________ by the Candle Lake Curling Club BOD & Membership The Candle Lake Curling Club offers for rent its facility at Candle Lake. To rent the facility, please contact the Rental Coordinator Dave Werrett at 306-961-8116 We offer:
Artificial curling ice, (3 sheets) for groups, clubs, schools, etc. and/or family gatherings Club lobby room, with or without kitchen/bar for parties, meetings, socials, etc. Entire facility or just the ice surface in the off season for commercial or social functions
Details and needs of the renter can be worked out between the rental coordinator and the renter. For example a large function may need additional portable toilets, tables, chairs, etc. Set up & take down and decorating does & don’ts should be clarified. Kitchen/bar rental includes equipment but not supplies The renter agrees to leave the facility clean, tidy, and in good repair. Cost of extra cleaning or damages will be recovered from the renter by the rental coordinator Fee structure; refer to the Candle Lake Curling Club Rental Agreement Rental fees are discounted 25% for active members (pay seasonal league fees) Rental requests for uses other than those listed in the rental agreement form will be considered on an individual basis by the rental committee and executive A refundable cleaning/damage deposit of $250.00 will be requested by the rental coordinator All rental requests may be approved by the Executive and Board of Directors once the renter has contacted the Rental Coordinator and agreed on the rental agreement/policy
