As a current member of Supreme Council I have been involved in the organizational management of Phi Sigma Sigma for three and a half years. I have working knowledge of the Fraternity’s budgeting process, tax and legal compliance and our risk management procedures. Professionally, I work in student affairs and conduct regular trainings with student organizations and advisors as it relates to risk management, finances, budgeting, and university policies and procedures. Additionally, I have engaged in a professional development experience recently that helped me hone my management skills as it relates to cultural competencies, organizational change, strategic planning, work politics and difficult dialogues. This experience helped me to recognize my growing skills in strategic planning, and activation of ideas. Skills I have put to good use on the Strategic Planning Committee for the Fraternity.
