Carer, Year 9 internal assessment week

Dear Parent/Carer, Year 9 internal assessment week I am writing to advise you that your child will be sitting internal assessments in most subjects during the week commencing 19 February 2018. The aim of these assessments is to support students in improving their revision and time management skills. This will better prepare them for the final expectations of assessments at GCSE. Teachers will be talking to students about what they are expected to learn and the format of the assessment. All exams will take place in classrooms during normal lesson time. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions. Please note that revision guides are available for students to purchase from reception for £2.50 for the revision book and £5.00 for the work book.
