Carpinteria AYSO Beach Cup XIX Tournament Invitation AYSO Region 683 is proud to invite your team to Carpinteria AYSO Beach Cup XIX Scope:
AYSO Invitational – open to AYSO teams only from all Sections.
When:
Saturday, April 5 & Sunday, April 6, 2014 – Rain or shine
Where:
The tournament will be held at CUSD School sites, El Carro and Monte Vista Park and Viola Fields
Who:
AYSO Teams: Boys and Girls U-14 (11v11) 18 player max. Boys and Girls U-12 (9v9) 14 player max. Boys and Girls U-10 (7v7) 12 player max. All players must be registered in the AYSO 2013 Membership Year. Guest players will be allowed (3 maximum per team). Co-ed teams will be accepted in boys’ divisions only.
What:
Each team will be guaranteed 2 games in pool play on Saturday and a 3rd pool or semi-final on Sunday. Semi-final winners will advance to the championship round on Sunday afternoon. All games will be as follows: 70 min. for U14, 60 min for U12, and 50 min for U10.
Why:
Carpinteria AYSO Beach Cup XIX is being conducted by Region 683 to provide Primary Program Scholarships and Secondary Program team support.
Awards:
All players and 2 coaches per team will receive a tournament pin. All players and Head Coach on 1st and 2nd place teams will receive trophies.
Entry Fee, Refunds:
$550 for U12 and U14. $500 for U10. A full refund will be issued if the tournament is canceled. If a team withdraws 30 or more days before the tournament, a full refund is given, within 30 days of the tournament, a refund will provided if a fully paid replacement team is found.
Referee Fee, Refunds:
$150, refundable within 14 days of the tournament, if referee assignments have been completed. Each team is asked to provide a qualified 3-person referee team to cover 3 games during the tournament. Partial refunds will be given based upon the number of game slots completed.

Acceptance:
The application deadline is Feb 23, 2014. All teams will be notified by February 28, 2014. Age groups may close earlier. Teams that are not accepted will be given the option to have their complete application returned or to be placed on the waiting list. This is not a first applied, first accepted tournament.
How:
Team entry applications and all necessary forms are available on the tournament website. Please send one Region check that covers both the Entry and Referee fees, along with the tournament application, referee information form, and an eAYSO Tournament roster to the Tournament Registrar address below. Regional Commissioner must sign application and team roster. Appropriate referee administrator must sign Referee Information Form. See referee form for details.
