Pattern: Carry-on Travel Bag or Ultimate Travel Bag by: Patterns by Annie Class Description: The perfect travel companion, this functional bag is carry-on compliant and sure to turn heads wherever you go. A comfortable padded adjustable carrying strap and quick-grab side handles make it convenient for all sorts of travel. With a zippered and slip pockets on the front, back, and ends as well as a full zippered pocket and three more slip pockets inside, the bag will keep everything organized and close at hand. Technique: Bag making, zipper installation, strap making, seam finishing techniques. Class level: Intermediate Supply List Pattern Hardware set Zippers Quilted Fabric (CUT OUT) Wonder Clips Clover Chalk Marker (I prefer white) Stiletto Tube Turner Prep Instructions: Fabric must be quilted and cut out prior to coming to class. There isn’t much room for cutting when we get everyone on class, and there will definitely not be time to quilt it and complete what we’d like in class if it isn’t quilted prior to coming to class. Note: Carry-on Pattern comes with pattern instructions for 1’’ wide handles and 1 ½’’ handles. I recommend the wider handles. Be sure to follow the correct diagram in the pattern when cutting out handle (contrasting) fabric.
