Step 1 — Lens
Use a pair of tweezers to gently move the wire away from the lens
This will make the area around the lens easily accessible
Step 2
The lens is held in by two hooks, one in the upper left hand corner and another in the lower right
Using a screwdriver push the metal hooks on the upper left corner, underneath the edge of circuit board. Pull up on the upper left corner of the lens, freeing the corner from the camera casing.

Step 3
While pulling the lens up out of the casing, push the hook to the lower right corner of the lens out of the way.
At this point the lens should be connected to the camera solely by two orange plastic strips.
Step 4
Using tweezers or finger nails pull up the brown flaps where the two orange film strips connected to the lens meets the circuit board.
Use tweezers to pull the orange film strips out of the port. It should come out easily.
There are two additional film strips connected to the circuit board that do not need to be removed. These are connected to the opposite side of the circuit board than the lens. © iFixit — CC BY-NC-SA

Step 5
Completely remove the lens. There should not be anything else holding it in place.
Step 6
Turn the lens over
On the back are four screws. Remove the two silver screws (4.36 mm) from the back of the lens.

Step 7
Remove the loose piece from the back of the lens and set it aside
The lens is now ready to be replaced with a new one.
