30 June 2016 Dear Parent / Carer RED PANDAS VISIT TO RYTON POOLS COUNTRY PARK As part of our Science topic, we would like to take Red Pandas to Ryton Pools Country Park. The visit is scheduled for Thursday 14 July leaving at 9.30am and returning to school at approximately 3.15pm. The cost of the trip will be £12.00 covering the transport and visit costs. All costs are based on a voluntary contribution from parents. This trip has been subsidized by ‘The Friends of Cawston Grange’. Pupils will need to wear a light long sleeve top and trousers to protect against brambles and nettles. They will also need a waterproof coat, their school jumper, a sunhat and suitable shoes for walking around the site outdoors. Please ensure your child has sun-cream applied before coming to school, if necessary. Pupils will need a packed lunch for the day, brought in a named plastic bag, with plenty of water. Please, no fizzy drinks or sweets. As Year 1 children are entitled to Universal free school meals if you would prefer school to provide a packed lunch please indicate on the slip below.
