One (1) $200 scholarship per household will be granted per season. This is a credit that will be applied to your account upon completion of your Volunteer requirements. Returning Cheerleaders from the previous 2015 season are ineligible to receive the $200 Scholarship as the Returning Cheerleader Discount has already been applied. Scholarship Recipient Families are required to complete 5 shifts of volunteer time for the Scholarship Credit to be applied to your Registration Fee balance. This volunteer requirement is to the CCAA. Volunteering on a team level, while helpful, will not apply toward your Scholarship Credit, with exception to the Roster-listed Coach, Team Manager, Auditor, and CheerMom positions. Anyone can earn the credit for the family: Mother, Father, Aunt, Uncle, Grandparent, Sibling older than 13, Cousin, Family Friend, Neighbor, etc… The Volunteer earning the credit will need to check in with a CCAA Board Member at the event to record completed shifts. o Applicable CCAA Events include (but are not limited to):  SCV Fourth of July Parade  Training Camp  Parent Meeting & BBQ  Picture Day / Pancake Breakfast  Registration Events  Uniform Fittings  Canteen Keeper (1 game)  #OutlawSpirit Wear Booth (1 game)  Equipment Handout & Return  CCAA Family Night  CCAA Parent Night  CCAA Fundraising Committee Recipient of scholarship is expected to complete the season, unless an injury has occurred. Recipients who do not complete the season will be ineligible for future scholarship. Scholarship Recipient Families are encouraged to apply for a $50 grant through Kids In The Game on-line at https://www.kidsinthegame.org/activex-pass-application/. This amount can be applied to your remaining Registration Fee balance to reduce your out-of-pocket costs by the amount received. Limited funds are available so early application is suggested. This grant goes directly to the Grant Recipient, not the CCAA, to assist with ANY costs associated with participation in Youth Sports. Scholarships may not be combined with any other Discount or Coupon. If a payment plan is required, payments are due as follows: o $50 - March 2016 DUE AT REGISTRATION o $50 - April 15, 2016 ($100 total needs to have been paid by this date) o $50 - May 15, 2016 ($150 total needs to have been paid by this date) o $50 - June 15, 2016 ($200 total needs to have been paid by this date) o $25 - June 15, 2016 ($225 total needs to have been paid by this date)

CANYON COUNTRY ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION Failure to complete Volunteer shifts will result in forfeiture of the scholarship and assess the remaining Registration Fee of $200. o If forfeiture occurs, your remaining Registration Fee balance will be due by August 31, 2016 or suspension of participation may occur. o Please make sure to choose the payment plan, “Scholarship Recipient” during online registration and the correct Payment Plan will be applied to your account.
